On 4 May 2026, a basic training course for SeniorLotsen will take place in Beelitz-Heilstätten. Participants will be given an overview of the advice and support services available in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district.

The Potsdam-Mittelmark district authority has granted planning permission for the extension to the Beelitz Clinics at the Beelitz-Heilstätten site. The new building is intended to bring all clinical departments under one roof in future.

The avian influenza restriction zones in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district have been lifted. However, biosecurity measures remain necessary.
