Citizen's income (Bürgergeld) - basic income support for jobseekers

Personal support : Integration support (IBEG)

Since 2012, the Jobcenter MAIA has been offering targeted assistance to long-term unemployed individuals and families in the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark through the Integration Support (IBEG) project. At its core is intensive, personalised counselling combined with flexible support to help participants re-enter the primary labour market.

Participants benefit from individual guidance, internship placements and employer contacts, assistance with job applications, and help with the recognition of professional qualifications. Further education is also a key element of the project, aiming to improve employability and the social situation – especially for children in families receiving citizens’ income.

Federal Employment Agency

The Federal Employment Agency also offers online access to current job opportunities in the Potsdam-Mittelmark region. With a clear search function and regularly updated listings, you can view all available options at a glance – simply search online and apply directly.
