The Potsdam-Mittelmark district is taking part in National Veterans’ Day. In Treuenbrietzen, the focus is on socialising, conversation and personal insights.

The district of Potsdam-Mittelmark and the town of Brandenburg an der Havel intend to further expand their cooperation on key issues for the future. A joint meeting focused on topics including education, school transport, public transport, emergency services and digitalisation.

Following the major fire in Treuenbrietzen, the Potsdam-Mittelmark district authority has issued advice on health and safety precautions.

In the first half of 2026, Mittelbrandenburgische Sparkasse is providing a total of €229,000 in funding for 48 clubs and organisations in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district. As the new school year approaches, the Potsdam-Mittelmark district is reminding residents of the deadline for applying for school travel passes. Applications must be submitted by 31 May 2026 at the latest. From 1 June 2026, regiobus Potsdam Mittelmark GmbH will also take over responsibility for school travel passes in the district.
