Following the outbreak of violence at the Stahnsdorf shared accommodation facility last weekend, the district authority, the police, the local council and other stakeholders have agreed on measures to improve security. The aim is to ensure the safety of the residents and prevent a recurrence of such incidents.

In accordance with the rotation schedule, the chairmanship of the Havelland Tourism Association has passed to Dr Steven Koch, First Deputy of the Potsdam-Mittelmark district. The general meeting took place on 26 March 2026.
