Avian influenza has once again been detected in the Beetzsee district. The Potsdam-Mittelmark district has established protection and surveillance zones and is providing information about the measures currently in place.

With the groundbreaking ceremony, the Potsdam-Mittelmark district has begun construction of its new central administrative headquarters in Beelitz-Heilstätten. Completion is scheduled for spring 2028.

From 2 to 15 December 2025, the exhibition "Inclusion is an attitude" will be on display at the Bad Belzig District Office. Nine roll-ups show the development of inclusion. The organiser is Lisa Weyhrich, Commissioner for People with Disabilities.
