The Land Valuation Committee for the Potsdam-Mittelmark district has approved the standard land values as at 1 January 2026. A total of 624 standard land values were determined for land ready for development, along with six values for agricultural and forestry land.

Bei der Bundeswehrübung „Medic Quadriga 2026“ am Flughafen BER waren auch ehrenamtliche Kräfte aus Potsdam-Mittelmark im Einsatz. 30 Aktive von DLRG und DRK unterstützten die Simulation von Triage, Versorgung und den Weitertransport Verwundeter in Kliniken.

Am Klinikum Bad Belzig wurde die modernisierte Zentrale Notaufnahme eröffnet. Neue Behandlungs- und Untersuchungsräume, ein moderner Wartebereich sowie getrennte Zugänge für liegende und fußläufige Patientinnen und Patienten gehören zu den Neuerungen. Die Notaufnahme ist die einzige im Landkreis Potsdam-Mittelmark.

Around 1,000 residents took part in an online survey on the Nuthetal transport scheme. Many rated the bus service in Schwielowsee, Michendorf and Nuthetal positively and praised the new routes as well as the reliability of the buses.

The 36th Brandenburg Women's Weeks were opened at the Bad Belzig Cultural Centre. District Administrator Marko Köhler welcomed numerous women's rights activists from Brandenburg to the state-wide kick-off event. The theme for the 2026 action weeks is "WTF – Wut trifft Feminismus" (Anger meets feminism).
