Bad Belzig, 21.05.2025 - In 2025, the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark is once again providing targeted support for the tourism base: small modernisation and renovation measures in accommodation establishments and tourism infrastructure can be funded again with immediate effect. With the programme for the promotion of "small-scale tourism measures" (KTM), the district is specifically strengthening those businesses that ensure the quality of the travel regions with great personal commitment.

District Administrator Marko Köhler: "Tourism in Potsdam-Mittelmark benefits from its great diversity - with the district's funding, we are providing welcome support in favour of the quality of the offers."

Holiday homes, campsites or rest areas - funding is available for investments that improve the quality of stay and increase guest comfort. Grants of up to 5,000 euros per year and 50 per cent of the eligible costs are possible. Since 2009, around 300 projects have been funded and investments totalling over 2.6 million euros have been initiated. The results are visible: improved accommodation, satisfied guests and a strengthened tourism infrastructure. With a view to challenges such as accessibility, sustainable offers or modern guest communication, the funding will remain an effective instrument of regional development in the future.
